She was the younger sister of Luna and Donatello Maximoff and the goddaughter of Clemente Alborosie and Aimee Lévesque. She attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic from 2014 to 2016, where she participated in a student exchange program with Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the 2016-2017 school year, after which she permanently transferred to Hogwarts and was Sorted into Hufflepuff house.
Like her older siblings, Vittoria was raised on the Southern Italian island of Montegona, which was entirely owned by her father and contained a large mansion. Vittoria idolized her older sister Luna and chose to go to Beauxbatons instead of New Alexandria so she could be with her. After beginning her education, it soon became clear that Luna was more interested in her popularity and her friends than her own sister, and Vittoria had refused to spend anymore time at the school. When her father found out about this, he was livid, and grounded Luna for the rest of the summer. Although Luna's attitude towards her younger sibling changed afterwards, the damage had already been done and she no longer saw Luna as someone she idolized.
Vittoria participated in a student exchange program with Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and spent the 2016-2017 school term there, where she met Miranda, Alexandra and Teddy Potter, the latter whom she fancied. After the semester at Hogwarts, Vittoria and Teddy began dating and she pleaded with her parents to allow her to transfer to the British school on a more permanent basis. After being granted permission, Vittoria started her education as a full-time Hogwarts student on 1 September 2017 and was Sorted into Hufflepuff house.
