Uriel Swope (born 1921) was Professor of Magical Art at Kaaterskill Academy of Magic during the 1996-1997 school year. Swope took the job reluctantly as a favor to Cyrus Flyte. In his opinion, there were not enough students with any talent for magical art to make it worth offering. He specialized in gritty, dark street scenes. He helped Ethan Lloyd overcome a mental block that kept him from painting and drawing during the summer and early fall of 1996.
