Slothish

A slothish, known to Muggles as the legendary mapinguary, is a giant sloth the size of a car. It sleeps for twenty-three and a half hours a day, and hangs for ten years in one spot before slumping through the forest to find another. It is a magical creature that can weakly summon fallen fruit. It sleeps until the fruit rolls its way to the creature; anyone who touches the slothish's fruit will be dragged with it by a powerful Sticking Charm, and forced to wait until the slothish wakes up and eats the fruit.

A slothish named Mappy hangs from a tree at Witness Stone School, and is responsible for the "CAUTION: FRUIT CROSSING" signs found around the school.
