The Ministry of Magic of the Portugal is the main governing body of the Magical community of the Golden Triangle with the intention of preservation of magical law. The Ministry connects the Portuguese government to the Wizarding world. The headquarters of the Ministry can be found in the centre of the Golden Triangle, in the central of Portugal. It is headed by President Antonio Marques, who acquired the position after his father, Jorge Marques passed away. The Ministry of Magic of the Portugal was found by Fabia Marques in 1539. It was involved in the International Confederation of Wizards' decision to create the Statue of Secrecy and still today takes the responsibility of enforcing said Statue. The laws against Dark Creatures being dangerous do not apply to the Portuguese government.
