Lyra Hestia Black (born 22 December 1979) is the daughter of Sirius Black and his late wife Marlene.

Early Life[]
Lyra was born to Sirius and Marlene Black on 22 December 1979. She lived with both of her parents in a London flat until Lord Voldemort killed Marlene and the elder McKinnons in an attack on the McKinnon house in July 1981. On Halloween of that year, Sirius left twenty-month-old Lyra with Ted Tonks, husband of his cousin, Andromeda, before going to check on Peter Pettigrew. The Tonks family raises Lyra for two months while Sirius was in prison for the murders of Peter Pettigrew and Lyra's godfather James Potter. Father and daughter would be reunited in January of 1982.
