- —Henry's portrait to his great-grandson Harry
Henry Potter, 18th Duke of Inverness (1893 - 1968) was a pure-blood wizard and a member of the noble branch of the Potter family. He was the eldest son of Thaddeus Potter and his wife Constance, having a younger brother called Alfred. He would later marry Martha Prewett, and would have a son called Fleamont, given this name at the request of his grandmother at her deathbed.
During his life, Henry was a member of the Wizengamot, and caused a minor controversy by publicly condemning then-Minister for Magic Archer Evermonde's decision to forbid the wizarding community from aiding Muggles during the First World War.
After his death, he was succeeded as Duke of Inverness by his son.
