Hardwin Potter was a human-Time Lord hybrid, and the eldest son of Linfred of Stinchcombe. Together with his mother and siblings, he was involved in the successful plot to stop his father and seal away his true mind, creating a new one in the process.
After this, he left a message inside the Time Lord's tomb, where he explained all he knew to his descendants, tasking them with guarding the prison of the real Linfred. Upon the death of the new Linfred, he inherited a sizeable sum of gold, as did each of his six siblings.
He married Iolanthe Peverell, and was an ancestor of Harry Potter and his brother Matthew.
