Geoffrey Montague (b. 1998) attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 2009 to 2016, and was sorted into Slytherin. In the House sorting of Slytherin's Choice, he drew a green gemstone.
In a double History of Magic class with Hufflepuff, Montague was pelted in the back of the head with erasers and spitballs for having drawn a spitted badger, its blood spelling the words DIE HUFFLEPUFF!, on the cover of one of his schoolbooks. In a double Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Ravenclaw, Montague pranked Stephen White by sticking White's wand to his desk with a sticking charm. Montague, along with Nero Velenos and Anthony Dreadmoor, later bullied White in the Slytherin common room.
During a double Astronomy class with Hufflepuff, Montague was partnered with Sung-Hee Moon, but switched to working with Dewey Diggory after losing ten points for yelling at Moon for mislabeling Venus as a star. Montague then harassed Diggory by telling him that Ravenclaw would "obliterate" Hufflepuff in an upcoming Quidditch match. In a double Herbology class with Gryffindor, Montague sneeringly offered Teddy Lupin a House-trade of Violet Parkinson for Chloe Grey with White as a free gift to Gryffindor. When Lupin became angry, Montague mocked him by implying that Lupin would turn into a werewolf, inciting Lupin to attack him, earning them both detention with Professor Longbottom.
At Longbottom's detention, Montague and Lupin were assigned to write essays on "the admirable qualities" of their Houses. Montague accused Longbottom of being prejudiced against Slytherin, but Longbottom admitted it, explaining that the huge losses he's suffered at the hands of Slytherins has made it difficult to be impartial to the House responsible for Voldemort's rise to power. Longbottom then sympathized with Montague's dilemma of being the son of a Death Eater, given the conflict between Geoffrey's desire to defend his father from criticism and his desire to shake off the stigma of his father's actions.
Montague was expelled in January of 2010 for having a photograph of his father at Hogwarts, which violated Dictate #7 of the Zero Toleration Policy.
