Chronos, also known as Time, is the primordial embodiment of time and the second oldest perennial.


Original work

The second Perennial to be born, TIme was the first to gain sentience, followed by Death and Corruption. As the three became sentient, their unity gave birth to Magic, which became the unifier of reality and all the concepts.

Over the ages, Time came to be known by several names to different cultures. The Greeks called him both Chronos (the primordial deity) and Kronos (the Titan), while the Romans called him Saturn (Kronos' Roman equivalent).

Rewrite version

Chronos was the second perennial to be born from nothingness, and together with Tau, is the the progenitor of Aernus, Mitra, Varuna and Isis.

In the non-fiction book "The Howling Halls", the writer describes his encounter with Chronos, which led to his mind being incinerated to the fact that by looking directly at the deity, he had seen every the past, the present and the future all at the same time.
