The Battle of Corellia was a major conflict that occurred in the Core World planet of Corellia, during the Great Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The battle saw the first major appearance of the Sith Empire's fleet against a small fleet of Republic ships.
The Republic fleet was decimated by the Sith armada, which then proceeded to blockade the planet, without assaulting Corellia in a ground attack.
