Saint Aeneas of Larissa (741 – 825) was a non-magical and a monk of Chalcedonian Christianity who came into contact with the wizarding world due to his muggle-born brother.

According to the canon of the Aenean Church, he was visited by an apparition of the Virgin Mary and was told to traverse the wizarding world. He was later entrusted with the Truth of God, and was given the mission to spread it through the wizardkind.

With with death in 825, his body would be later entombed inside the Basilica of Saint Aeneas in the magical city of Constantinople, and would remain there in an incorruptible state. Despite having been the one to receive the Truth of God, it would be his followers who founded the Aenean Church after his death.
