Watergem is a school of witchcraft and wizardry. It is located in Canberra, Austrailia. Watergem is a big place. It is for ages 12-18. It was built in 1236. The headmaster is a wizard known as Professor Clive Spikehorn. Mr Spikehorn is hundreds of years old. He hasn't always been the headmaster though. He had predessors. The potions master at Watergem is an old man named Lucas Straini. Lucas's ancestors were Romanian wizards. His last name Straini means strangers in romanian. Watergem has five houses. The names of the houses are Trojan, Weaseltail, Woodhandle, Ghostflame, and Prickle. The people who are in the house of Trojan have golden stripes on their robes, The people who are in Weaseltail have brown stripes on their robes, the people who are in Woodhandle have tan stripes on their robes, the people who are in ghostflame have white stripes on their robes, and the people who are in the house of prickle have grey stripes.

Harry Potter and the rise of the evil shark monkey people is a 2009 Harry Potter film. It takes place during Harry Potter's 6th year at Hogwarts (Half Blood Prince year if you forget what his 6th year or 6th movie was called..). Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson who are typically cast as Harry, Ron, and Hermione starr in this film. And they are cast as Harry and his friends too!

story

During Harry's 6th year at Hogwarts he, Ron, and Hermione discover that Professor Dumbledore is acting a bit strange. They want to find out what is going on. He has been having secret meetings with some of the teachers about something. They want to get the chance to eavesdrop or spy on them to find out what is going on. They wait and wait for the chance to do it. So then very late at night Snape, Mad Eye Moody, Dumbledore, and Professor McGonnagal are having a secret meeting in Dumbledore's office. So then Harry and Ron sneak out of bed and then Hermione comes a long with them later. The three of them eavesdrop on Dumbledore's conversation with Snape, Mad Eye Moody, and Professor McGonagall and they hear that mystical and vicious creatures who are called shark monkey's have been attacking the land and have been trying to get into Hogwarts. Dumbledore is very worried. Harry wonders what shark monkeys are so he looks them up on the internet. Shark Monkeys are Half Shark and half monkey monsters that feed on humans and turn their victims into shark monkeys. They also like to clone things a lot. Harry and his friends visit Hagrid and tell him about shark monkeys. Hagrid had battled them as a child before he was expelled from Hogwarts. Shark Monkey's break into Hagrid's hut and attack them because they know that they've discussed a conversation about them. They knock out Hagrid, beat up Harry and Ron, and then kidnap Hermione. Ron and Harry tried to save her but it was too late. She was kidnapped. Harry and Ron tell Professor Dumbledore about it. Dumbledore was a little mad that they eavesdropped on them so he took away points from Gryffindor but he forgave them. He promised them that he would help the two of them find Hermione. It would be dangerous though. The shark monkeys are hiding deep in a lake and inside a cave with air in it and thats where they are holding Hermione captive. Hermione is tied up but not in ropes. In seaweed! Late at night Harry, Dumbledore, and Ron put on scuba diving suits and go into the lake. They find the cave. They take off the scuba diving suits and explore the caves. They can't really see good in the cavern because its dark so Harry casts lumos so they can see. They find out there is an invisible door that only shark monkeys can see so they drink shark monkey potions to disguise themselves as regular shark monkeys. Then they open the door. They see a bunch of shark monkeys. They find out their leader is an evil man named Domonkos the shark monkey. Domonkos originated from Hungary. He lived in Budapest. They see that they are treating Hermione badly and made her eat dead tadpoles for dinner. The potion wears off and they are themselves again. The shark monkeys attack them. They have a magic showdown. They defeat most of the henchmen and free Hermione. But then Hermione is caught while they are escaping. They have failed the quest. They go back to Hogwarts. The next day they get more help and do the quest again. They cannot fail again! more to be added

The Ministry of Magic in Great Britain (which also governs the magical population in Ireland) is headed by the Minister of Magic, who is aided by the Wizengamot (a legislative and judicial body that actually predates the Ministry and was formerly called the Wizards' Council) and the heads of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Department of Mysteries, Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, Department of Magical Games and Sports, Department of International Magical Cooperation, Department of Magical Transportation, and the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. The Minister is pesonally aided by a Senior Undersecretary and Junior Assistant.

The Minister of Magic theoretically serves for life or until resignation, but he may be removed by vote of the Wizengamot on criminal charges or in case of physical or mental incapacity.

The Wizengamot is headed by a Chief Warlock, who is selected by majority vote of the Wizengamot. In cases no candidate for Chief Warlock gets an absolute majority of votes, the Minister of Magic may appoint a Wizengamot member to serve as Chief Warlock. The Minister or the Senior Undersecretary could theoretically serve as Chief Warlock due to both individuals being Wizengamot members themselves with full voting privileges, but such an occurance is rare.

The Wizengamot serves as a court of law to try criminals in the British magical community who violate the laws of wizarding Britain.

The Minister of Magic makes laws normally by having the Minister submit a proposed bill for the approval of the Wizengamot, who have the power to approve or veto on a simple majority vote. If the legistation passes the Wizengamot, the Minister of Magic publically proclaims the new law.

The appointment of the heads of the various departments within the Ministry (see above), the Senior Undersecretary, the Junior Assistant, and the British members of the International Confederation of Wizards are vested in the Minister of Magic, although such appointments are subject to the approval of a Wizengamot majority.

When Kingsley Shacklebolt became British Minister of Magic in 1998, he reformed the Wizengamot by having it pass a bill that reformed the Wizengamot by stripping the Minister and Senior Undersecretary of their automatic Wizengamot membership, having the 50 regular Wizengamot members elected every seven years (beginning in 1999) by members of the British and Irish magical communities (including humans, goblins, dwarfs, elves, vampires, and hags), and separating the Wizengamot members into a 25-member Legislative Committee and a 25-member Judicial Committee (both selected by random lottery). The Legislative Committee voted to approve or reject bills sponsored by the Minister, while the Judicial Committee took over the traditional functions the Wizengamot as a whole had as a court. The entire Wizengamot still met as a whole to elect new Ministers of Magic and to approve or reject appointees of the current Minister.

In the Wizengamot elections of 2006 and 2013, a political-party system emerged centered on three main parties: True Bloods, Neo-Orthodox, and Reformers. The True Blood Party proclaimed it's hostility to Muggles and Muggle-borns, a stance rejected by the Neo-Orthodox and Reformer parties. The Neo-Orthodox Party stood for traditional magical and wizarding values, while the Reformer Party stood for mixing magic with Muggle values.
